This loft is the second floor of the same building as the listing #5128 (Exceptional loft on 3 levels):It is a true open space loft with an entire 40 foot by 9 ft high wall of east facing windows and 12 ft ceilings and is approximately 1200 sq feet in size. Air conditioned.
There are 2 bedrooms is discretely behind french doors.
There is also a fold down sofa bed in the main loft area which has privacy curtain blinds.
The loft has a small custom kitchen which is also discretly behind french doors. It has black lacquer cabinets and a stainless counter and new high end stainless appliances inlcuding a quiet Bosh dishwasher.
The loft has a very modern chic look in decor and furniture (much like my other listing #8601) which is very 60s -70s white on white look,with Aimes style features : stainless,glass,chrome etc furnishings mix. 6 custom wardrobes serve for lots of closet space, kitchen amenities, and also disguise the livingroom sterio and tv when not in use .
Floors are beautiful wide plank rich chocolate hardwood. Custom modern patchwork bright coloured area rugs are from Turkey.
A large bathroom has closeted new W/D, 9x6 ft vanity mirror wall, and a large walk in ceramic shower.
This is a truely \"Modern style loft\" with designer cache. This is one of only 3 lofts in this converted warehouse and is very unique to the area.

Area Description

Everything you would want is within blocks : The Plateau is the most desired area now for the upwardly mobile : with cache and very alive, this area has a mix of both residential and commerce. Restaurants, bistros, small speciality shops, stores all are around the loft. The area is bounded by the two main shopping streets of St Denis and St Laurent. This central part of the Plateau also has "bring your own wine" restaurants that are very popular destinations for dining with people from all over Montreal.

Transport

A car is not necessary
Located dead center of the Plateau : at St Denis and Rachael
(on Drolet Street). It is only two short blocks to the city Metro / Subway system.
Downtown is 10 minutes away by metro or a very short cab ride / same for Old Montreal and the Harbour Port.
The train and bus terminals are minutes away by cab.(Buses run 1/2 hourly to the airport).
Car parking is allowed on 50% of the street in front of the loft for persons without permits and has adequate space for visitors with cars. Parties staying for extended durations can also acquire temporary permits from the City of Mtl for access parking on all the street sections.

Exit cleaning service : Cost is $60 CDN Weekly or bi weekly cleaning services are mandatory for rentals over 2 weeks at a cost of $60 per session.
Other Information
Weekly : 1 person $950, 2 persons $1100, 3 or 4 persons $1400 ( living room convertable bed option with curtain partitions ) $900. 3 day minimum rate : 1 or 2 persons $175 a night, 3-4 persons $225 a night. Plus $60 exit cleaning charge.
